Russian Image Dissector Tube

This totally opaque, Russian made, sober looking tube, 7” (17.5cms) long, dates to the late eighties of the 20^th Century. It is of the “Image Dissector” type, initially invented by the American Philo Farnsworth in the late twenties. It needs very strong lighting, and presently its use is mainly industrial.
