            This totally opaque, Russian made, sober looking tube, 7” (17.5cms) long, dates to the late eighties of the 20th Century. It is of the “Image Dissector” type, initially invented by the American Philo Farnsworth in the late twenties. It needs very strong lighting, and presently its use is mainly industrial.
